Rates & Insurance

Rates:

The standard intake session costs $400 for 75-90 minutes. Individual therapy sessions are $275 for 45 minutes and $325 for 60 minutes. To learn about clinical supervision and workshop rates, please contact Dr. McCue.

Billing:

You will receive an invoice for the services, which you can submit for insurance reimbursement and keep for your records.

Insurance and Reimbursement:

Dr. McCue is an out-of-network provider and does not accept insurance directly. However, if you have a PPO health plan, you may be eligible for reimbursement. Most PPO plans cover 50% – 100% of my services after you meet your deductible, and many clients with PPO plans receive reimbursement.

Sliding scale:

There are a small number of sliding scale slots. You are welcome to ask about them, but at times, they are often filled.

*If you are seeking therapy at a significantly reduced cost, you are encouraged to check out organizations such as Open Path Collective. You can also check out community-based counseling centers connected to universities or institutes. One such center is the Dean Hope Center. It is affiliated with Teachers College/ Columbia University.

Payments:

Payment is required in full at the time of the session. Payments will be made over a secure platform. Major credit and debit cards, FSA, and HSA cards are accepted.

Cancellation Policy:

I kindly request a minimum of 48 hours notice if you need to cancel an appointment. Missed appointments or cancellations with less than 48 hours notice will incur the full session fee.
