Intimate Partner Violence
Therapy for survivors of intimate partner violence (IPV) – also known as domestic violence – is a vital pathway to healing, safety, and empowerment. It will address the emotional, psychological, and physical toll of abuse while helping individuals rebuild their lives. Therapy will help survivors create personalized plans to stay safe, especially if they are still in or recently left an abusive relationship. Therapy will focus on restoring autonomy, confidence, and a sense of control over one’s life. Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Flash Technique can be used to help the brain reprocess traumatic memories, reducing their emotional impact.
